I attended school in Portland, OR at East-West College of Healing Arts. Upon graduation, in the early summer of 1998, I started to wander back home to Iowa. After a few stops along the way, there I was. This began my study for the National Certification Exam for Therapeutic Massage and Bodywork. If I had only known. With that out of the way, I received my Iowa Massage Licensure and began practicing. After a short summer and a long winter in Iowa, we found Arizona. And much more! Now happily married, with three beautiful children, I enjoy my family and working with clients at Stay Tuned Therapeutics. Sometimes I even make it into the woods for myself! I enjoy disk golf, mountain biking, hiking, running and the fishing is fair.

In April of 2006 Missy and I went Costa Rica to do intensive training in Myoskeletal Alignment and Orthopedic massage!! While in Costa Rica we studied specific techniques for correcting non-compensatory spinal patterns in the neck and back, and great shoulder assesment and corrective techniques. I consider continuing my education one of the most fulfilling parts of my career, second only to my clients and their success.  In December of 2005 I visited Aaron Mattes in Sarasota Florida, sitting in and working with him in his clinic.  This was a great opportunity to train with one of the masters in my field.  The most important technique I can use is to give my clients guidance and inspiration in healing themselves and understanding that change can occur. Working with athletes at the Center for High Altitude Training at Northern Arizona University has provided me great opportunities to get to know the physiology of athletes and their specific sport. I also work with associates of local industries, instruct college massage and flexability classes and have held credentialing at Flagstaff Medical Center.
